Rangi Ruru Girls’ School welcomes enquiries for enrolment for all year levels.
Enrolling your daughter at Rangi Ruru is the start of an exciting journey, and our dedicated Enrolments team are here to assist you and your daughter every step of the way.
Years 7 & 9 are our two main intake levels, however girls can enrol to start at Rangi Ruru at any year, from Year 7 – 13 as places allow.
Applying for Enrolment
For all enrolments, both day and boarding, it is essential that you submit an application at least two years prior to entry. You can apply to enrol your daughter at anytime from birth. Please note that an application to enrol does not guarantee placement in the school but will add your daughter to the enrolment waitlist.
You will be contacted to discuss the formal enrolment process approximately one year prior to your daughter’s start date. Interviews will be prioritised for siblings of current or past students, daughters, and granddaughters of Old Girls, then the date application is received, and in line with our enrolment guidelines. If an offer of a place is made following the interview, payment of the confirmation fee will confirm your daughters place at Rangi Ruru. If your application is received too late and a place at Rangi Ruru is unlikely based on the number of enrolments we have received, you may not receive an invitation to interview.
Please contact the Enrolments Team before submitting a new Enrolment Application.
2025 and beyond Enrolments
Applications are currently open for 2025 and beyond. Please see the Enrolment Journey below, and complete your application online.
We work closely with families to ensure their daughter and the entire family feels welcome and supported. We are happy to answer any of your questions along the way. We look forward to welcoming you to the Rangi Ruru Family.

This establishes the best place to support your daughter. We work alongside your daughter to support her future learning.
We use testing, school reports and talk to previous teachers to assist in this process.
It is very important to us that we get to know you and your daughter. In the interview we discuss your daughter’s interests and motivations, get an understanding of your expectations and answer any questions you may have. It is on the basis of this interview that an offer for enrolment is made. If you are interested in pre-enrolling your daughter complete the Rangi Ruru online enrolment form now, then send us a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate, passport and her most recent school report.
