Groups and activities offer an opportunity to extend and enhance learning outside of the classroom, while getting to know other girls from across the school. Groups can be social or competitive and cater for the novice or expert.

Girls can chose to be involved in a wide variety of groups including:

- International Club
- Kapa Haka
- Model UN
- Philosophy
- Young Enterprise
- Young Farmers
Girls can also become members of the Councils – sport, cultural, service, environment, health, community and house.
Activities
Girls can volunteer for service groups that assist with events and activities in the school throughout the year, including:
- Fitness Assistant
- Library Assistant
- Tech Angel
- Rangi Host
Girls may also be involved in additional opportunities including:
- Spirit of New Zealand/Spirit Trophy
- Outward Bound
- Samoa Cultural Experience
Exchanges to Argentina and Japan (language based) and the United Kingdom, United States and India.
Community Service
Community Service is actively encouraged and all girls are provided with opportunities to be involved with community events and charities through volunteer work.
The school raises over $20,000 for its chosen local and global causes each year. Senior girls contribute in excess of 10,000 hours to community service annually. Trips such as the Samoa Experience offer valuable community service experience.
