The Rangi Ruru Foundation is a Charitable Trust established in 1995 to ensure the long-term future sustainability of the School and to assist the School to maintain its position as a leading independent girls’ school in New Zealand. The Foundation aims to provide a capital fund for the basis of future developments beyond those which could reasonably be provided by fees.
The principal charitable object of the Foundation is for the support, enhancement and advancement of education of the past, existing, future students and staff of the School. Other charitable objects;
- Providing or improving facilities for the use of the School and its community
- Providing scholarships and bursaries for students and staff
- Assisting with the provision of prizes for student achievement
- Fostering a general welfare, health and development of the students and staff of the School
- Providing financial assistance for education outside of the classroom and other School related activities
- Providing assistance for the management and control of the School
