Pastoral Supervisor – School Term Time

Availability: Start date 29 April 2026 Term time only – Wednesday’s 5.30pm-10pm, Saturday’s 8am-4pm & Sunday’s 8am-3.30pm

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Pastoral Supervisor to join our boarding team. This role provides evening pastoral care to approximately 130 girls in Years 9 to 13, ensuring they feel supported, heard, and cared for. If you have a warm presence and a calm, reliable approach, you’ll thrive in this highly rewarding position.

About the Role

As a Pastoral Supervisor, you will play an essential part in the wellbeing of our boarders. You will help create a homely and supportive environment where students feel safe and respected. Working closely with our boarding team, you will respond to wellbeing needs with sensitivity, maintain strong communication, and assist in upholding the routines and expectations that support a positive boarding culture.

This is a people-focused, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be supporting them through daily challenges, celebrating their successes, and helping ensure their boarding experience is positive and enriching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily pastoral care and wellbeing support for boarding students
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment within the boarding house
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to student concerns or behavioural issues
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with the boarding team regarding student needs
  • Support evening routines, activities and general supervision of boarders
