Rangi Ruru success at the Maadi Cup 2021

Rangi won 8 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze, top Sweep School in NZ, the award of Top Secondary School in NZ, and took out the Levin 75th Jubliee Cup (U18 8+). As well as that, the girls did a clean sweep across all 5 eights which hasn’t been done since Waikato Dio did it in 2012 and the first time it has ever been done since the Novice 8+ was introduced into the programme in 2014. We couldn’t be prouder of the whole squad, coaching and support staff, families, sponsors and everyone that made this incredible achievement possible.

Off the back of these results, the following girls have received NZ trials for the following:
NZ Junior Trial: Tessa Reid
North vs South U18 Trial: Georgie Bethell, Nicole Vance, Alice Wallis, Phoebe Wallis, Rosie Gray, Primrose Porter, Holly Lill, Annabel Wynn-Williams and Sienna O’Shannessey.
