When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s the half-blood son of the Greek God, he and his friends set off on an epic quest to recover Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods. With newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a whole bunch of mythical monsters on his tail, Percy must learn what it means to be a hero.
